The Veridis Desert Challenge event, which will take place in the Amiaz plain, passes through unique, primordial landscapes. The Amiaz plain is a remnant of a prehistoric lake, which slowly dried out in the pastoral region of the southern Judaean desert.
The region is of a particularly high ecological value, being the meeting point of various geographical formations and boasting a wide biological variety, in addition to being scenically unique and attracting many visitors from around the world.

Hence, we request that you race in accordance with the rules of conduct in a natural reserve, especially when riding on the marked paths, without deviating or making shortcuts. Riding outside the marked paths can cause substantial ecological damage, diversion of water routes and destruction of habitats.

We ask you to look after nature, avoid littering and adhere to instructions given by Nature & Park authority officials.

Thank you,
The Nature & Park Authority
